Guitar

We teach all levels from beginner to advanced students looking to progress their creative and technical abilities. Our main focus is to bring enjoyment to learning guitar and to help you find your own identity as a musician. We cover all aspects of guitar tuition: grades, acoustic, and electric in any style.

Playing the Guitar

Piano

We teach levels ranging from complete beginner to intermediate. A big part of our piano course is teaching our students how to apply theory and technique to allow them to play and improvise with other musicians. Mainstream piano tuition often overlooks improvisation which is an integral part of music. We offer students the chance to delve into more contemporary styles of piano, such as Jazz, R&B, Soul, Pop, and Rock as well as providing graded tuition.

Bass

We welcome all levels from beginner to advanced. Our main focus is to develop a good understanding of music theory and rhythm. We do this by teaching our students to play their favourite songs and styles of music. This lays the foundation for students to create their own style and bass lines, giving them the confidence to play and improvise with other musicians.

Playing Bass

Ukulele

Ukulele can be a great introduction to learning a musical instrument. All levels are welcome and for our more experienced students, we offer the chance to learn some interesting new techniques and songs. We will cover music theory by focusing on the students' musical interests and goals.

Music Theory

Our music theory lessons focus on learning how to read, write, and compose music. We offer tuition for the Royal Irish Academy of Music syllabus and we also cater to students who would like to apply music theory in real-world contexts; for instance, songwriting, arranging, or composition.

Junior and Leaving Cert music grinds are also available. We endeavour to help students achieve their highest grade possible.

Group Lessons: Guitarists/Bassists & Live Performance

For many students the ultimate goal of taking music lessons is to eventually perform with other people. Our group lessons introduce students to the key aspects of being in a group. These include: how to communicate with each other on stage, dealing with performance anxiety, learning songs, and many more of the essential details which contribute to creating a successful group dynamic.

If you don't know where to start but you've always wanted to be in a band, join our group lessons for an opportunity to perform with other students. Or, if you have a group of friends who wish to start a band, we can facilitate and guide you on your musical journey to get you jamming as soon as possible.
